* all information could be found fast but not all are true and reliable facts.

compare and contrast individual search and meta engines

* search engines are independent to it's own directory in meta engines it uses all search engines available to search information.


when is it appropriate to use a search engine.

* to search information for the latest news and updates in technology.


when is it appropriate to use a serach/subject directory

* when doing a research paper, for example you are researching a particular topic that needed to be breakdown into subtopics.


what is an invisible web or deep web?

* it is a web that cannot detect by common search engines.



how do you find an invisible web?

* there are search engines that search directly to invisible web like www.planet.com.



why are these web pages not available in search engines or subject directories.

* because the search engines does not have the directory for the spiders to search in their database.

* Based on the presentation last Friday, what were the circumstances that drove the people during that time to developed technologies towards inter-networks?

before in 1957 all computers worked only on one task at a time, and they called it batch processing. they invented many things so that people can easily use the computers, and after many years, they finally invented the new technology, "the Internet".

* How did the different technologies contribute to the evolution of the modern Internet?

the different technologies before contributes a lot to our modern internet today, because technologies before are working very slow. that's why they give idea to the people to invent new. and they discovered the internet.

* If you could change or improve something in the internet and/or its services, what would it be?

If i have a chance to change or improve something in the internet, it would be the speed of the internet when it is raining. because sometimes when it rains our internet is very slow, sometimes it is not running or working.

Paypal is online payment. You can request, receive and send money internationally without exposing your credit card number. You can do shopping online using Paypal as a method of payment. When you use PayPal, your financial information is never shared with the merchant.
PayPal now becomes the most popular method for paying for eBay auctions, so many people are familiar with it.

1) Go to the site : www.paypal.com

2) Choose your country and language you prefer. If you can not find your country in the list, then you can not register with Paypal. Then Click "Select" to go to the next page.

3) Choose Type of Account. For ones who want to buy and sell online, please select "Premier" by clicking at the tap "Get Started".

4) Add your credit card details and click "Continue"

5) Now you have to go to your email, check your inbox. There will be an email from Paypal. You need to activate your Paypal Account by clicking " Click to Activate Your Account".

6) From you Paypal Site, Click "Link and Confirm Credit Card". When you click "Save and Continue, your debit card will be charge $1.95. Paypal will refund this amount to your Paypal Account after your card has been confirmed

7) Click "Go To My Account".

8) Add Security questions.

9) Now wait for few more days till you can check your credit card statement. You will find Paypal Code for four digits. Log into your Paypal Account again. Add this code to confirm with Paypal and you will get $1.95 refunded from Paypal to your account.
